Place a separate HD CypherCode beneath QR2HD to display product information or open a product webpage. When label space is limited, QR2HD can also carry two embedded HD Barcode messages inside the QR Code itself.
The CypherCode displays a short sample text message.
A separate HD CypherCode can encode readable text or a URL. When space is at a premium, embedded HD Barcode messages provide another option. Optional printed anti-copy features address a different question: whether a printed mark is an original or a reproduction.
The same QR2HD QR Code opens the reader. Different CypherCodes can supply different messages or web destinations.
No separate CypherCode needed. Two additional HD Barcode messages fit within the QR Code, with optional encryption and printed anti-copy features.
Use a separate CypherCode when there is enough label space and you want flexible product-specific data. Or embed additional HD Barcode messages inside the QR Code when a second symbol will not fit.
No store employee, special consumer app, dedicated scanner, or other consumer equipment is required.

Use the cell phone camera to open the QR2HD.com reader.
Point the reader at the HD Barcode. Plain text is displayed; a decoded HTTPS URL can take you to a product webpage.
Display instructions, product details, or other text encoded in an HD CypherCode.
A CypherCode containing a URL can open a product-specific webpage or a database-backed lookup.
Embedded HD Barcode messages can be encrypted, so only authorized readers can recover protected information.
For suitable printed applications, proprietary features can help evaluate whether a mark has been reproduced.
Both examples use exactly the same QR2HD symbol and reader. Only the content of the separate CypherCode changes.
Scan the QR Code with a cell phone, then point the CypherCode reader at the separate barcode. When it contains ordinary text, the reader displays that text.
Scan the same QR Code, then read a different CypherCode. When its decoded message is an HTTPS URL, the reader follows that URL to a product page or database-backed application.

Display this page on a PC or tablet and use a cell phone as the reader. This QR2HD symbol carries two separate, unencrypted HD Barcode messages, so both can be read immediately.
Open the reader. Scan the QR2HD symbol with the phone's normal camera. The QR Code opens the QR2HD reader.
Read the HD Barcode data. Point the QR2HD reader back at the same symbol.
See both messages. The reader recovers and displays both embedded messages from the same QR2HD symbol.
